Since the middle of 2008, Facebook has dominated the social networking business. ‘Til then, it was MySpace, but after Facebook introduced Fan Pages, all the singers and artists starting creating Fan Pages on Facebook, instead of MySpace, as they’d done until then.
When I say Facebook has dominated the social networking business, I’m wrong, because Facebook has “dominated” the whole Internet. According to Google, it even superpassed Yahoo traffic-wise.
When MySpace tried its best to hold Facebook down, and didn’t succeed, now they’re talking a different approach. Be Facebook’s friends. Now both social networks, including Twitter, allow you to publish posts in all 3 of them at the same time. You can also update your statuses in all three of them. Artists are loving this, because they don’t have to create two different pages, one in Facebook and one in Myspace(If they still use MySpace).
